Educational Qualification:

• Must have passed the 10th standard from any Board/Institute recognized by the Government.
• Minimum one-year full-time diploma in cooking/culinary arts from a recognized institute. Note: Ex-servicemen who do not have the one-year diploma can apply based on a trade/competency certificate in cooking/catering issued by a competent authority.

Experience:

• A minimum of three years of cooking experience in a prestigious hotel, restaurant, government department, or undertaking.

Age Limit:

• 18 to 27 years as of 01.08.2024. Age relaxation is applicable as per Government Rules for SC/ST/OBC/Physically Challenged/Ex-Servicemen/Widow/Divorcee Women/Judicially separated Women who are not re-married, and dependents of Freedom Fighters.

Selection Process for job vacancy in Delhi

• Written Test (Objective Type): General Knowledge (30 marks) and Cooking/Culinary Arts (70 marks) — 60% qualifying marks in each component.
• Practical Trade Skill Test (Cooking and Hygiene): 70 marks.
• Interview: 30 marks.

Total Marks: 200
Candidates must score at least 60% overall to qualify.

Test Duration: 90 minutes (Written Test)
Test Centers: 17 centers across 16 states including Ahmedabad, Ambala, Bengaluru, and others.
