d. Dimensions 3.5 cm x 1.5cm (preferred).
e. Size of file should be less than 80 kb

Here’re some more guidelines by the Dept.

I don’t have a stamp-pad right now, what can I use to create my thumb-impression?

Here’s a quick solution. Take a pen (ball or gel) – take out the top nib of that pen (blow air inside or just rub the pen on your thumb) and put the ink on your thumb – ensure you take a plain white paper and there’s NO smudge left. Better try 2-3 times and one of the impression will be useful.

What is the in-hand salary a newly appointed Chandigarh JBT teacher?

Although, it isn’t possible to give an exact figure because of several deductions like income tax and NPS, but a good approximate in-hand salary for a newly appointed teacher is around ₹25,000-₹30,000 per month.

It’s because the basic salary for a newly appointed teacher is ₹ 9,300 (over the years this can raised up to ₹34,800 per month). Add to this the fixed Grade Pay of ₹4,200 and various allowances like DA & HRA – and you would get a figure of ₹25,000 – ₹30,000.

In many aspects it’s a very good figure especially considering the job security and other aspects of the job.

What are the best books for Chandigarh JBT recruitment?

Although the notification says the “difficulty Level of questions will be upto 10th standard” – we all know the syallbus can be overwhelming. There’re 11 subjects and from Class I to Class X – we have 100s of books to complete. A better way would be to focus strategically and practice mock tests.
