Max Number of Chances for SBI Clerk Examination

Last years’ recruitment document mentioned, “Candidates can appear for the test only once under this recruitment project.” That project was for the vacancy of ‘Jr. Associate (customer support & sales). However, we aren’t sure what’ll be the terms for this year.

It depends on various factors. If bank received a successful feedback from that project – they might launch it again. So we can’t say for sure what’ll be the terms this year. In any case, you don’t have much time left for the SBI clerical test preparation – even if you’re undergoing coaching.

Pre-Examination Training by SBI

Candidates from SC, ST, OBC, and Religious Minority communities, etc. are provided online pre-examination training by the bank. If you want to obtain this training, you should indicate this preference in your online SBI Clerk application form.

Is this pre-exam training enough to clear SBI Clerk exams?

Unfortunately, I feel this training doesn’t serve much purpose. Clearing SBI Clerk exam based on this pre-exam training is difficult – you have to do a lot of self-study (coaching or no coaching) and prepare strategically as per your strengths and weaknesses.
