• Stand in good lighting – preferably in a well-lighted room
• Avoid any shadows on your face
• Ensure your ears, neck, and head is clearly visible in the photo

Suggestions for taking signature correctly for the SSC portal:

• Take a plain white paper – avoid paper with lines
• Use black pen for signature as it’s clearly visible
• Draw a 4cm (width) by 2cm (height) box and sign inside the box
• Scan or take a clear photo of that box
