Documents needed before you start CUET registration form
- Your recent photograph (jpg) of size 10 kb to 200 kb
- Your signature (jpg) of size 04 kb to 30 kb
- PwD Certificate (if applicable)
- Letter/ certificate for claiming seat under quota (NCC, sports, Kashmiri migrant, Ex-service men, etc.)
- If you’re filling form from Gen/SC/ST/OBC category – then you are not required to upload any proof right now. But they’ll be needed at admission.

Step 1: Visit the official website: exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG
Step 2: Go to the Public Notice section, and read the latest information bulletin
Step 3: Then visit https://cuetug.ntaonline.in/ to register for CUET exams
Step 4: Click ‘New candidate register here’ (indicated by red)
Use this if you’re registering for the first time. (If you’ve registered earlier – fill your application number on the right -that’s indicated with green)
If you have an account – just login and begin applying for CUET Form.
Step 5: Click on the square box
This indicates you’ve downloaded the information bulletin and have read it. Please take some time to go through this.
Step 5: Choose Your own photo ID to login
Ensure you’ve used your own photo ID – not your parent’s or anyone elses. Then click on proceed.
Step 6: Complete all the details accurately.
I’d highly recommend you check every letter as mistakes are common.
Step 7: Review the details and procced
Please click all that you’ve verified. And click on ‘I agree’ confirming that all the details are correct. Submit for OTP.
STEP 8: check your EMAIL for the OTP
Remember, this code will arrive on your email – not your mobile. Ensure this email is active otherwise you can miss all the important information. Also, check your spam and junk inboxes for the OTP.
Step 9: Enter all the details without mistakes
This include details like category, family details, category, school, etc. Make sure everything is correct as you may need to reproduce the documents during the verification in the college.
Step 10: enter quota category or mark no
Select yes/no for NCC, Kashmiri Migrant, etc. quota. And click on Save and next after you select ‘I agree’ sharing all the information is correct.

Step 11: Enter 12th class details
It can be “appearing” also so if you’re going to appear for your 12th exams in 2024. Anyways the results are going to come by June 2024.

You can select as many as you like – there’s no additional cost for this.
Step 13: Select your preferred Subjects
Ensure you’ve selected the subjects which are required for your preferred courses. Otherwise your selection will be rejected.
Step 14: Choose suitable Exam centers
You have to select max 4. Ensure these are nearby areas.
Step 15: upload suitable documents like photo and signature
They must be in proper format and size – otherwise they’ll not upload.
Step 16: verify your mobile
By this stage, thoroughly check your details and spelling and correct any mistakes. Once you go beyond this stage there’s no going back.
Step 17: Review everything before final submit
Once you click ‘final submit’ you’ll not be able to modify the CUET form 2024. So make sure you make any changes now.
